Meet the Ringstead family...
I joined Ringstead CE Primary School in April 2015 as the EYFS and Year 1 Class Teacher. In September 2019, I became the Head of School and continued to teach in Early Years. In September 2020, I took on my current role at Ringstead as Headteacher. In my spare time, I am a Flight Lieutenant within the RAF Air Cadets. I am responsible for running the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award across South and East Midlands Wing, which involves supporting over 30 squadrons in enabling cadets to achieve their Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards. I have a young family, consisting of two daughters, who as they age will hopefully enjoy the outdoors as much as my husband and I do! My name is Sarah Marlow and I started as Assistant Headteacher at Ringstead in September 2024. I have been a teacher for 25 years and have taught at schools in Wellingborough and Luton. My husband and I have two children and we moved from Luton to Raunds in 2015. We came here as we love the outdoors, fishing and walking our dog Stanley in the gorgeous Northamptonshire countryside. I love horse riding, gardening, singing (badly) and watching football with my family. We are Luton Town supporters and love to watch matches at Kenilworth Road. I love working at Ringstead due to its caring, nurturing family feel. I joined Ringstead Primary School in September 2011 and have thoroughly enjoyed my journey within the school having started working as a TA before training as a HLTA and then eventually as a teacher. I love History and originally trained as an archaeologist before moving into teaching. I run an excavation on the school grounds each summer and I am a committee member for the local heritage group. Reading is another passion of mine and I keen to share that love of reading with our pupils. I love talking about books with my class and over the years students have recommended authors to me who have gone on to become favourites of mine.

I first started working at Ringstead Primary where I taught PE one morning a week and I absolutely loved it. I did this for three years and then returned to Manor School in Raunds to continue teaching PE to Year 7 to Year 11. I then joined the Ringstead team in September 2021, where I love sharing my passion for all sports, particularly Gymnastics, Athletics and Netball.
In my spare time, I love going to the gym, running, cycling and yoga. I also have been lucky enough to have travelled to many different countries and love trying out the local food. My favourite places are Australia, Dubai and America. At the weekends, I enjoy going to the theatre and relaxing with family and friends.

Hello, I'm Mrs Willmott and I started working at Ringstead in September 2022. I have previously been a teaching assistant elsewhere within the county. However, I thoroughly enjoy working in a smaller school with a lovely family feel and church ethos. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and our dogs. Our most recent hobby involves travelling as we adore time in the outdoors and get to enjoy this far more often now we have a camper van! Mrs Ellen Willmott Teaching Assistant |

I joined the staff team at Ringstead in September 2023 to lead the After School Club. Shortly after, I began a TA apprenticeship and I am loving my time here! I currently live in the village and attended the school myself as a child so I am very privileged to be back where I started my education! In my spare time I love being in the outdoors and spending time with my family. You will often find me walking my dogs around the village! Miss Morgan Hinds Teaching Assistant - Owls |

Hello, I'm Mrs Sexton. I am a qualified teacher having worked in Year 3 at a school in Bedford for just under 5 years before having my two children and staying at home to look after them for 3.5 years. I joined the Ringstead team as a HLTA in September 2025 and I cannot think of a better place to restart my journey in education.
I love listening to music (and singing along at the top of my lungs), reading and spending time with my family. I am a big fan of Disney - I have loved Toy Story since I was 2 years old!

I started working at Ringstead first as a parent helper, then as a TA when my eldest son was in Year 3 and my youngest in EYFS. They have now grown up, one has been to university and the other is in motor vehicle maintenance. Before working at Ringstead, I worked at Heathrow Airport where I found my love for travelling around the world, visiting all but one of the continents - I hope to get to Antarctica one day. I also help at the Ringstead Scout Group so am often away camping, canoeing and hiking. I enjoy the cinema, going to the theatre or curling up with a good book. Hello, I’m Mrs Carpenter and I joined the Ringstead family in January 2021, supporting children in KS2 throughout the lockdown periods. I am enjoying my current role of Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 and have experience working across both Key Stages. I have a love of Art and all that’s creative! I previously painted for an Art Printing Company, a few of my paintings can still be purchased now. I have filled my home with paintings, my favourite medium being acrylics on canvas. I also ran an after-school club for film making, inspiring children to storyboard their ideas, a film using all the equipment and acting in front of the camera. Editing films and making children’s ideas become a reality fascinates me. Animals play a big part in my life, and I share my home with a border terrier named BB, a Syrian hamster called Chase and three guinea pigs called Nova, Lou-Lou and Angel. I love being active, taking long walks with my dog and visiting the gym several times a week. Mrs Kerry Carpenter Teaching Assistant - Hawks

Hello, my name is Miss Spring. I joined Ringstead CE Primary School in September 2024 as an After-School Club Assistant and have since progressed into my current role as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and develop a love for learning, and I strive to bring patience and creativity into everything I do. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Ringstead team and I am excited to continue learning and developing in my role. One of the things I value most is the opportunity to learn from the children themselves, just as much as I hope they learn from me. Outside of school, I treasure time with my family, whether that’s enjoying days out together, getting creative with crafts, or relaxing with a cosy movie night. I believe it’s often the simple moments in life that hold the greatest meaning. I feel incredibly fortunate to have two wonderful daughters and aspire every day to be the best mum I can be. Looking ahead, I hope to continue building strong relationships within the school community and to support every child in reaching their full potential.
