What We’re Learning

This term, our topics include:

English –
We are exploring two exciting units this term:

  • Character and setting descriptions, focusing on using speech, prepositions, and a range of conjunctions to make our writing vivid and engaging.

Maths –
We are working on:

  • Number: Place Value – understanding the value of digits and working with numbers up to 1000.
  • Number: Addition and Subtraction – developing efficient methods and deepening our reasoning skills.

Science –
In Biology, we’re learning all about Plants – their parts, their needs, and how they grow and survive
.

Geography –
Our focus this term is a UK study, where we will explore the countries, capitals and key cities of the United Kingdom. We’ll build our locational knowledge through maps, atlases, and interactive learning.

Creative Subjects –
From painting and creating to music and singing, the Ravens love using the arts to express themselves and explore new ideas.

We also build important life skills through PSHEPE, and collaborative learning across the curriculum.
